1. Vocabulary Builder with Context
Create a vocabulary lesson for [LEVEL] learners of [TARGET LANGUAGE]. Focus on [THEME/TOPIC] vocabulary. Include [NUMBER] words with: the word, pronunciation guide, meaning, example sentence showing usage, and a common mistake to avoid. Native language: [NATIVE LANGUAGE].
Level: Intermediate, Target Language: Spanish, Theme: Restaurant and ordering food, Number: 12 words, Native Language: English
1) PEDIR (peh-DEER) - to order/to ask for. Example: 'Quiero pedir la cuenta' (I want to ask for the check). COMMON MISTAKE: Don't confuse with 'preguntar' (to ask a question). You 'pides' food, you 'preguntas' the time. 2) LA PROPINA (lah proh-PEE-nah) - the tip. Example: 'La propina no está incluida' (The tip isn't included). COMMON MISTAKE: In Spain, small tips are normal. In Mexico, 15-20% is expected. Know your context. 3) PICANTE (pee-KAHN-teh) - spicy. Example: '¿Es muy picante?' (Is it very spicy?). COMMON MISTAKE: 'Caliente' means hot temperature, not spicy. Don't say 'comida caliente' when you mean spicy...

2. Grammar Drill Generator

Include: an explanation of the rule with examples, [NUMBER] practice sentences (fill-in or transformation), and [NUMBER] sentences for students to create on their own. Common errors to watch for: [ERRORS].
Level: Beginner, Target Language: French, Grammar Point: Regular -ER verb conjugation in present tense, Number: 10 practice, 5 create-your-own, Errors: Forgetting to remove -ER before adding ending, mixing up tu/vous forms
RULE: To conjugate regular -ER verbs in French present tense, remove the -ER and add: je -e, tu -es, il/elle -e, nous -ons, vous -ez, ils/elles -ent. Example: PARLER (to speak) → je parle, tu parles, il parle, nous parlons, vous parlez, ils parlent. PRACTICE (fill in the correct form): 1) Je ______ (manger) une pomme. [mange] 2) Tu ______ (regarder) la télé. [regardes] 3) Nous ______ (danser) bien. [dansons]... WATCH OUT: 'Tu parle' is WRONG. Always add -es for 'tu.' CREATE YOUR OWN: Write sentences using these verbs: chanter, travailler, écouter, jouer, habiter. Example: 'J'habite à Paris.'...

CULTURAL NOTE: Bowing slightly when asking shows politeness. Japanese people may walk you there instead of giving directions...
When students need to practice realistic conversations for travel or daily life
- •Role-play both parts so students practice asking and answering
- •Add unexpected complications (the person doesn't know, gives wrong directions)

- •Gradually reduce the glossary as students advance
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Teaching vocabulary in isolation without context. Words stick better in sentences and situations
Only practicing one skill at a time. Real communication combines listening, speaking, reading, and writing
